Unlike Battlefield who goes 100 years into the future and then goes back to crap in Bad Company

I think Modern Warfare is fantastic.

It's rare that a production company can take a game's feel and translate it into a whole different setting.

Even the change in weapons was huge, just ask the guys at Epic, they sure couldn't do it.

But CoD2 was also a favorite, and it'll be cool to see them touch on the pacific rim, and since they'll be able to bring some flavor back from the 21st century, it should be pretty good.

And don't even bring up Battlefield 2142, I feel bad for the Battlefield faithful, that game was a waste of time.

I hated BF2142. Bad Company is better that it but not much. I don't see why its ratings were so high.

All I hope for is that the new CoD is just as good and even better than the last.

Well the Call of Duty series seems to be a rare exception to most franchises and it's actually improved itself with each installment (not counting any console installments cuz those are for noobs anyway).

so yeah, I'm sure it's bound to let you down sometime

Every game has it's high and low points. Hopefully this one will keep me entertained as well as the last one.

Why did we not realize COD was awesome before it was too late?
